He is survived by: his son Justin Mervine of DeWitt; his stepdaughter Amy Stevens; his son Jamie Wagner; his siblings, James Mervine (Kathy) of Johnstown, Frank Mervine (Tammy) of DeWitt and Shirley Mervine of Marshalltown; and his pet Louise. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
