He was predeceased by: his parents, Rollie Doty and Viola Hazelbaker Doty; his former wife Bernice Wenneson; his wife Janet Dodson; and his stepchildren, Burl Dodson and JoAnna Kate Dodson.
He is survived by: his children, Neil Doty (Pat) of Fargo, ND, Douglas (Yesenia) of Atwater, MN, Gregory of Boise, Idaho and Susan Thibedeau (Bob) of Fargo, ND; and his stepchildren, Sondra Adams (Daniel) of Wheatland, Kathy Sue Leapadt (Leon) of Lincoln, NE and Wallace Dodson (Leila) of Madrid, NE. He is also survived by great grand children.
