She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Plambeck and Irma Plambeck (Ewoldt); her husband Don Petersen; her son-in-law Steve Powers; and her sister June Rittmer.
She is survived by: her children, Ann Powers of Lowden, David (Teri) of Davenport and Michael of Wheatland; her grandson Ryan Powers (Jackie) of Davenport; and her sister-in-law Lynn Leavens (Don). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Paul's United Church of Christ (315 N Main St, Wheatland, IA 52777). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
