He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Gragg and Darlene Gragg (McDonald); and his siblings, Peggy Walker, Marvin Gragg and Michael Gragg.

He is survived by: his wife Joyce Danner; his children, Max Gragg Jr. of What Cheer, Dana May (Chris) of Solon, Larry Gragg (Krysti) of Delta and Marsha Phillips (Kevin) of What Cheer; his grandchildren, Heather Little (Bart), Eric Gragg (Jeri), Lindsay Seibert (Ben), Alex Gragg, Kyndra Gragg, Jamie Tuttle (Austin), Harry Agnew (Courtney) and Archie Agnew (Suzanne); and his great grandchildren, Miranda, Mariah, Marissa, Macie, Jerrika, Brianna, Seth, Gage, Cole, Dax and Kolt. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and friends.

Memorial contributions may be made in the family's name to be determined at a later time.
