She was predeceased by: her sister Evelyn Turner; and her grandson Hoyt Grossman. She is survived by: her parents, Carl August Robert and Mary Elizabeth Lange (Murphy); her spouse Robert Leo Painter; her children, Tim Painter (Deb Anderson) of Wever, Terri Ough (Dan Tarasewicz) of West Burlington, Tamara Grossman (Randy) and Fort Madison; and her grandchildren, T. J. Painter (Amber), LeAnn Cashman (Lee), Wylie Grossman (Candice), Lori Shehan (Tom), Rachel Cooper (Jason Ruble), Travis Painter (Tanya Hurley), Colton Ough (Sara Bonar) and Cory Ough (Courtney Augustine). She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren; and her "little brother" Cyrus (Evelyn) Painter, of Lawson, Missouri; nieces and nephews.
