She was predeceased by: her parents, George Sr. Bergmeier and Estella Mae Bergmeier (Lightner); her spouse Glenn Edward Congdon Sr.; her sons, Glenn E. Congdon Jr. and Jerry E. Congdon; her granddaughter Gena Layer; and her brothers, Rodney Bergmeier and George Bergmeier Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Larry Congdon (Kathie) of Granite Bay, California, Virginia J. Layer of Burlington, Iowa, Peggy M. Estrada (David) of Wever and Bonnie A. Congdon (Dot Drummond) of Wever; her daughters-in-law, Betty Congdon of Fort Madison, Lee Congdon of St. James City, Florida and Penny Atlee of Palms Spring, California; her grandchildren, Kurtis Congdon (Samantha), Anthony Congdon, Craig Congdon (Amy), David Estrada, Deon Estrada (Laura), Melissa Watson (Mike), Stephanie Cooke (Peter), Blake Congdon, Emily Penrod (Jason) and Drew Congdon; her great grandchildren, Zachary Watson, Madison Watson, Jason Congdon, Eva Cooke, Jonah Cooke, Jadon Penrod, Levi Penrod, Evelyn Penrod and Theron Layer (Senuri); her sisters, June McVeigh of Nauvoo and Virginia Bass of Eugene, Oregon; and her sister-in-law Peggy Bergmeier of Illinois. She is also survived by several step grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.
