He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Johnson and Evelyn Johnson; and his brother Dale Hemmie. He is survived by: his former wife Cheryl K. Braun; his wife Cheryl Johnson of Wever, IA; and his children, JoAnne Farrier (Matthew) of Palmyra, MO, Douglas Johnson (Karla) of Cedar Rapids, IA and Angela Thurman (Terry) of Pea Ridge, AR. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
