He is survived by: his wife Melva DeWitt of Wever; and his children, Dean DeWitt (Jody) of Fort Madison, Craig DeWitt of Wever, Lynette Stein of Williamsburg, Diana Vorwaldt (Howard) of Wever, Stephanie Fisher (Troy) of Arizona and Susan Sanford (Joe Naumann) of Fort Madison. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.
