It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kevin Ricke of Westside, Iowa, born in Carroll, Iowa, who passed away on July 24, 2022, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Richard Ricke and Marietta Ricke (Demuth); his wife Geri Ricke (Gallagher); his children, Rachel Ricke (Justin Riha), Heather Schall (Christopher) and Ryan Ricke; his grandchildren, Emery, Isabelle Riha, Carver and Hadley Schall; his brothers, Douglas (Lori), Thomas (Julie), Daniel, Keith (Darlene) and Lynn (Stacy); his siblings-in-law, Cecelia Thelen, Mary Wulf (Russ), Patty Pudenz (Michael), Phyllis Poggensee, Therese Smiley (Mark), Cornelius Gallagher (Carol), Damian Gallagher and Larry Nagl; his aunts, Esther Hausman and Emily Demuth; his uncle James Demuth; his parents-in-law, Bernadette Gallagher, Lawrence Thelen and Margie Nagl; his grandparents, George, Rose Ricke, Jacob and Emma Demuth; and his aunts and uncles, Patricia Demuth, Berenice Wagner, Jerry Wagner, Clarence Hausman and Ralph Ricke. He was also cherished by his numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made for a memorial fund for Kevin's Grandchildren or the Kuemper Catholic Schools Foundation.
