It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Donald Raymond Nauholz of Westgate, Iowa, who passed away on September 24, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman A. Nauholz and Clara Nauholz (Bartz); his son Kenneth Nauholz; his siblings, Carl Nauholz, Garnet Reid and Margaret Johns; and his siblings-in-law, Margie Nauholz, Clair Reid and Roy Johns.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Nauholz of Westgate; his children, Sharon Kern (Scott) of Traer and John Nauholz (Melissa) of Cedar Rapids; his grandchildren, Hannah Holaday (Daniel), Abraham Kern, Jeremiah Kern, Rachel Kern, Elijah Kern, Grace Nauholz, Faith Nauholz and Timothy Nauholz; his great grandchildren, Grace and Liberty Holaday; and his sisters-in-law, Joann Aubrey (Gus) of Oelwein and Kay Lowe (Keith) of Waterloo. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Due to state and federal guidance on gatherings due to the COVID-19 pandemic, social distancing will be required. Those in attendance are asked to wear a mask inside the funeral home and church.
