He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Dennehey and Sybil Dennehey (Whalen); and his siblings, Rosemary, Teresa and George.
He is survived by: his wife Rhonda Smith of Westfield, Iowa; his children, Briana Dennehey of Denver and Cully Dennehey of Kansas City, Missouri; his siblings, Bobett Kreich (David) of Grandbury, Michael Dennehey (Marilyn) of Haslet, Shawn Dennehey (Darnell) of Danbury, Mary Hodgins (Steve) of Cushing and Shannon Daniels (Ted) of Monticello, Minnesota; his stepdaughter Sarah Hays (Delmer) of Bardstown, Kentucky; his grandsons, Tanner Dennehey of Sergeant Bluff and Skyler Frye of Gleester; and his great grandchild Jamison Smith-Dennehey of Sergeant Bluff, Iowa. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
