It is with great sadness that we announce the death of JoAnn O'Hara Castalia Iowa (West Union, Iowa), who passed away on June 11, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin Engelhardt and Anna Engelhardt (Stee); her son Scott O; her sisters, Marlus Brandt (Robert) and Arlene Everman (Leon); her sisters-in-law, Gail Craft (Lewis) and Carol Engelhardt; her parents-in-law, Lawrence and Romelda Klein; her sons-in-law, Mark Yorman and Ray Beierman; and her nephew Bruce Everman.
She is survived by: her husband Leo O'Hara; her children, Mike O'Hara (Mary) of Decorah, IA, Lynn Beiermann of Owatonna, MN, Mark O'Hara (Crystal) of Kearney, MO, Traci Yorman (Chris) of Bartlesville, OK, Lisa Kruse (Kirk) of Castalia, IA and David O'Hara (Colette) of Iowa City, IA.; her grandchildren, Jenny Macken (Dan), Kristi Hiatt (Travis), Aaron Kruse (Gretchen), Sullavan O'Hara (Maggie), Kelsey O'Hara (Steve), Older and Tara Gray (Devon); her great grandchildren, Trevor, Trey Hiatt, Remington Gray, Killian and Ezra O'Hara; her brothers, Ed Engelhardt (Nancy) and Roger Engelhardt (Becky); and her siblings-in-law, Michael Klein (Rita) and Kate Elder (Bob). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
