He was predeceased by: his sister Mary; and his niece Elizabeth Meyer. He is survived by: his spouse Patricia Carol Paulsen; his children, Christopher James and Trisha Ann Davis; his spouse Kathleen Dianne Kern; and his children, Jason Lawrence, Heidi Jo Komorech and Joshua Kern. He is also survived by his wife, four siblings, five children, six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Friends of the West Union Library.
