We are sad to announce that on February 9, 2022, at the age of 93, Dorothea Sophia Brockway West Union Iowa (West Union, Iowa) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, William Begalske and Dorothea Begalske (Ohmann); her husband Raymond Brockway; her daughter Debra Anderson (Bill); her grandchildren, Nickolas Elliott, Stephanie Brockway and Kennedy Frost; and her siblings, Merlin, Lionel Begalske and Arlene Morse.

She is survived by: her children, Lynn Elliott (Daniel) of Postville, Iowa, Allan Brockway (Sharon) of West Union, Iowa, Kevin Brockway (Sue) of West Union, Iowa and Dean Brockway (Teri) of West Union, Iowa. She is also survived by five grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

She loved making quilts and made over 1, 000 quilts over forty years which were donated to various charity organizations.
