Arliss Grimes Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Arliss Grimes of West Union, Iowa, born in Postville, Iowa, who passed away on February 11, 2021, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin Brandt and Mabel Brandt (Dow); her husband Harry Grimes Jr.; and her children, Bill Grimes and Linda Grimes.
She is survived by: her children, Jim Grimes of West Union, Jon Grimes of West Union, Cinda Searles of Leander and Nancy Grimes of Frisco, Texas. She is also survived by nine grandchildren.
Memorials may be made in Arliss' memory to West Union Public Library, West Union Parks and Recreation - Festival of Lights, or Gunderson Palmer Hospice.
