She was predeceased by: her parents, William Sanders and Anna Sanders (Menke); and her husband LeRoy Henry Steffensmeier. She is survived by: her children, Bill Steffensmeier of Fort Madison, Bob Steffensmeier of Fort Madison, Joe Steffensmeier (Kathy) of West Point, Pat Steffensmeier (Peggy) of West Point, Tom Steffensmeier (Carla) of West Point, MaryLee Burgason of Cedar Rapids, Sue Butler (Joe) of Burlington, Joan Conley (Bob) of Madison and Jean Schulte (Brad) of Fort Madison. She is also survived by twenty-seven grandchildren; twenty-six great grandchildren.
Attendees will be required to wear masks and social distance.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in her memory for St. Mary's Catholic Church or Holy Trinity Catholic Schools.
