He is survived by: his former wife Kathy Johnson (Klesner); his children, Jessica Johnson-Koontz (Kevin) of Bativia and Jeremiah Johnson of Franklin, Iowa; his siblings, Walter Johnson of West Point, Gary Johnson (Chris) of West Point, Jim Johnson (Tina) of Vail, Arizona, Patty Pruss (Tom) of Aurora, Colorado, Eleanor Tubbs (Dennis) of Carthage, Illinois, Connie Brown of Fort Madison, Iowa, Janice Morrow (Rick) of Memphis, Missouri, Betty Holton of Lee Summit, Missouri and Mary Watson (Jeff) of Marshalltown, Iowa; and his grandchildren, Elizabeth, Jasmine, Gracelynn Johnson and Joseph Koontz.
A memorial has been established for St. Jude's Children's Hospital, contributions may be made at the funeral home.
