It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Paul Leo Scott of West Point, Iowa, born in Saint Paul, Iowa, who passed away on September 8, 2020, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Mark Scott and Frances Caslavka (Pieper); his stepfather Milvoy Caslavka; and his brother-in-law Mike Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Judi Steffensmeier; his sons, Rob Scott (Sara) of Hiawatha, Nate Scott (Danielle) of Mt. Pleasant, Iowa, Doug Scott (Kayla McCannon) and Josh Scott (Elizabeth) of West Point, Iowa; and his siblings, Lee Meller of Fort Madison, Helen Johnson of Fort Madison, Iowa, Janice Winnike of Santa Fe, Carol Heitz of Naples, Lee Scott and Pat Scott of Fort Madison, Iowa.. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Those attending are required to wear a mask and social distance.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in his memory to upgrade the street lighting at St. Mary's Catholic Church.
