Nick Schwartz Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Nick Schwartz (West Point, Iowa), born in Mount Pleasant, Iowa, who passed away on October 12, 2020 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Philip Schwartz and Helen Schwartz (Greiner); and his sister Mary Ellen Williams. He is survived by: his wife Nicky Nichting; his children, Mindy Ward (Chad), Lindsey Forquer (Jesse), Luke Schwartz (Brittni) and Philip Schwartz (Kayla); his grandchildren, Noah, Faith Ward, Nicholas "Cale" Schwartz and Coy Forquer; and his sisters, Judy Neuweg (Glenn) and Wilma Wellman (Marvin). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Those attending are required to wear a mask and social distance.

A memorial has been established in his memory to Houghton Fire and Rescue.
