She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore Brinkschroeder and Pearl Brinkschroeder (Sonntag); and her husband Richard Edwin Peitz. She is survived by: her children, Diane Jennings (Richard) of West Point, Cindy Kennedy of Farmington, Susan Gruener (Rob) of West Point, Daniel Peitz (Laura) of Decatur, Georgia, Randy Peitz (Pamela) of West Point, Mark Peitz of Burlington, Alan Peitz (Monica) of Perry, David Peitz (Lori) of Republic and Doug Peitz (Deanna Boyle) of Danville, Iowa. She is also survived by twenty-two grandchildren; thirty-two great grandchildren, two on the way and seven great-great grandchildren.
A memorial has been established for Saint Mary's Catholic Church or Calvary Cemetery.
