With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Michael Paul Arnold of West Point, Iowa, who passed away on September 25, 2023 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Don "Bud" Arnold and Opal Jean "Nikki" Arnold (Nichols); his parents-in-law, Billy and June Plassmeyer; and his stepson Adam Steffensmeier.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Ann Plassmeyer; his stepdaughter Holly Thompson (Jonathon); his children, Chase, Noah, Zac and Quinn of Santa Barbara, California; his stepgrandson Bryant Steffensmeier of Urbandale; his sister Carol Gentili (Richard) of Buckeye, Arizona; his brother-in-law Mark Plassmeyer (Alisa) of Blue Springs, Missouri; and his nieces and nephews, Suzy Finigan (Mike), Ronnie Gentili, Craig Plassmeyer, Kyle Plassmeyer (Nikki) and Bri Skiles (Matt).
In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established in his memory to PAW Animal Shelter or the Monsignor J.A. Wagner Building Fund.
