Lorene M. Wheeler Obituary
We are sad to announce that on May 15, 2021, at the age of 93, Lorene M. Wheeler of West Point, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Otto J. Moeller and Evelyn B. Moeller (Rauenbuehler); her husband Gerald H. "Junior" Wheeler; her daughter Sue Vandenberg; her grandson Jack Beard; her brothers, Clarence Moeller and Marvin; and her brother-in-law Gene Vonderhaar.
She is survived by: her daughters, Linda McGuire (Ron) of Shueyville, Jan Beard (Jeff) of Gainesville, Sandy Mehmert (Gene) of St. Paul, Cindy Hines (Dave) of Mt. Prospect and Angie Wagner (Leroy) of Waukee, Iowa; her son-in-law Brad Vandenberg of Donnellson, Iowa; her sister Velda Vonderhaar of West Point, Iowa; and her sisters-in-law, Helen Moeller of West Point, Joan Menke of West Point and Barbara Stanaway. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; seven great grandchildren.
A memorial has been established in her memory for St. Mary's Catholic Church for building maintenance.
