In the vast expanse of eternity, Lester shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Lester farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Decker and Rose Decker (Bentlage); his wife Marylee G. Meier (Bair); his siblings, Donald Decker, Leroy Decker, Myron Decker and Caroline Decker; his grandson Justin Meier; and his nephew John Decker.
He is survived by: his children, Bruce Meier (Gail) of Indianapolis, Norman Decker (Linda) of Edgewood, Noel Meier of Kahoka, Cynthia Hast (Tom) of Champaign and Christine Wildrick of Bradenton. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; twenty-eight great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
