She was predeceased by: her parents, Malcolm Stine and Gertrude Teresa Holterhaus Evans; her husband Clarence "Corky" Cowles; and her son David Rene. She is survived by: her daughter Karen Kester (Edward Todd) of West Point; and her granddaughter Rae Fedler (Aaron) of Lowell. She is also survived by several brothers and sisters in law as well as thirteen nieces and nephews.
A memorial has been established for PAW and may be sent to her daughter, Karen.
