He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Beger and Elizabeth "Betty" Mae Beger (Heye). He is survived by: his wife Judy Watkins; his brothers, Tom Beger (Chris) of Columbia, Bob Beger (Judy) of High Ridge and John Beger (Cindy) of Rolla, Missouri; his stepdaughter Wendy Caviness (Loren) of Montrose, Iowa; his daughters, Louisa Beger (Duane), McConnell of Fort Madison and Katherine Warner (Wade) of Selah, Washington; and his grandchildren, Ryan Caviness, Matthew Caviness, Shawn Caviness, Elijah McConnell, Olivia Warner and Katalina Warner. He is also survived by five nieces.
A memorial has been established in his memory for the Job's Closet Food Pantry of Bonaparte.
