He was predeceased by: his father Adrian Holtkamp; and his wives, Mary Lynn and Kathy Holtkamp. He is survived by: his mother Marcella Holtkamp (Box) of West Point; his fiancée Cara Gilds; his children, Nick Holtkamp (Andrea) of Basalt, Colorado and Leslie Tourte (Mitchel) of Paton, Iowa; his grandchildren, Henry, Reese Tourte and Oriah Clark; his fiancés, Tyler Dahl (Danielle), Mackenzie Cipoth (Jacob), Rylee, Jordan, Iris and Azalea; and his sisters, Kathy Fett (Bryan) of Donnellson and Donna Ireland (Mike) of Cedar Rapids. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Schmitz Funeral Homes - West Point (502 Avenue E, West Point, IA 52656). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. James Catholic Church (2044 Locust St, St Paul, IA 52657).
A memorial has been established in his memory for Myotonic Dystrophy Foundation, Great River Home Health or West Point Fire and Rescue.
