Eileen F. Vorwaldt Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eileen F. Vorwaldt of West Point, Iowa, who passed away on March 14, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Eileen F. Vorwaldt to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd Grelk and Catherine Walljasper Grelk; her husband Junior Vorwaldt; her siblings, Duane, Norbert, Anthony, Paul and Barbara Guinther; and her great grandchild Hunter Vorwaldt.
She is survived by: her sons, Randy Vorwaldt (Johnita) of Ft. Madison, Craig Vorwaldt of Ft. Madison, Howard Vorwaldt (Diana) of Wever and Roland Vorwaldt (Grace) of Ft. Madison; and her siblings, Mary Umbarger of Mt. Vernon, IA, Gary Grelk of Winfield, Kenny Grelk of Ft. Madison and Bob Grelk of Houghton. She is also survived by six grandchildren; six great grandchildren.
A rosary was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 from 3:30 PM to 4:00 PM at the King-Lynk Funeral Home (3507 Avenue L, Fort Madison, IA 52627). Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, March 19th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (119 4th St, West Point, IA 52656).
