He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerhard B. Snaadt and Adelaide Snaadt (Strothman); his siblings, Leroy, Lucille Kruse, Cassilda Reichelt, Bernice Brune and Kay Kaltefleiter; and his grandson Troy Snaadt.
He is survived by: his wife Eileen M. Fedler; his children, Tim Snaadt (Carol) of West Point, Rod Snaadt of West Point, Doug Snaadt (Nancy) of Fort Madison, Deb Lowenberg (Dave) of West Point and Jan Holtkamp (Pat) of West Point; his grandchildren, Jeff Snaadt (Tanya), Kara Ulrich (Ryan), Kurt Lowenberg (Rhonda), Andy Snaadt (Stacy), Abby Denning, Brett Snaadt, Trevor Snaadt (Brianne Linklin), Trenton Holtkamp, Kasse Holtkamp, Ryan Snaadt (Paige) and Harrison Snaadt; and his great grandchildren, Michael, Garrett Snaadt, Cole, Gabe, Luke Ulrich, Landan, Mylan Lowenberg, Tyler, Teagan, Tanner Snaadt, Taegan, Jameson, Eva, Brynn Denning, Tate Snaadt and Emmalyn Snaadt. He is also survived by three sons, two daughters, twelve grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren.
A memorial has been established in his memory for West Point Fire and Rescue and Calvary Cemetery.
