She was predeceased by: her parents, Ben Wellman and Theresa Wellman (Merschman); and her siblings, Germaine, Virginia, Bernice, Crescentia, Bob, Stanley, Paul and Donald.
She is survived by: her son Mark Freitag (Mary) of Billings, Montana; her grandchildren, Chad Freitag (Anya), Amy Berve (Jeff) and Ryan Freitag; her stepgranddaughters, Stacie Heil (Austin) and Sara Belgarde (Cody); her siblings, Phyllis Ward of West Point, Iowa and Ron Wellman (Linda) of West Point, Iowa; and her sister-in-law Marilyn Wellman. She is also survived by four step great grandchildren; one great-great step grandchild.
A memorial has been established for Holy Trinity Elementary School or Saint John's Cemetery.
