Mickelson of West Point, Iowa, born in Fort Madison, Iowa, who passed away on September 14, 2022, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Linus O. Fritzjunker and Ceclia Rose Fritzjunker (Holtkamp); her husband LeRoy Mickelson; her daughter Deborah Kassmeyer; and her brother LeRoy. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

A memorial has been established in her memory for West Point Care Center or St. James Cemetery.
