He is survived by: his children, Mike Severson (Marci), Shelly Hons and Mindy Heick (Dean); his grandchildren, Riley, Logan Vaughan (Aubrey), Brittney Smejkal (Greg), Lindsey Hons, Max Hons (Beth), Clay Heick (Audra) and Troy Heick (Mikayla); his great grandchildren, Maleigha, Delainey, Barrett Hons and Hadley Heick; his wife June Grotewold; his siblings, Carol Reinsch of Clay Center, KS, Ruth Holland (Denny) of Gilbert, AZ, Sharon Moser (Sam) of Fort Dodge, IA and Dick Severson of Ellsworth, WI; his siblings-in-law, Lyle Grotewold (Joan) of Larchwood, IA, Gerald Grotewold of Watertown, SD and Connie Walker of Sioux Falls, SD; and his aunt Marilyn VanAsh. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
