With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lawrence L. Paul (West Liberty, Iowa), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 13, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Fantley Roy Paul and Nancy Rosey Myrtle Paul; his son-in-law Thomas Alan Brown; and his foster son John Paul Busher (Brad). He is survived by: his wife Laura Lee Paul; his children, Deb Simpson (Lindsey), Diana (late Tom Brown), Rodney Paul and Douglas Busher; and his grandchildren, Tiffany Paul (Sid Thompson), Ryne Paul (Jill), Nick Heath (Rebecca Mattke), Jessica Schroeder (Brian), Marla Griffith (Aaron), Janel Tyler (Zach) and Michelle Galvan (Julio).
Visitation was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Church United (1100 N Calhoun St, West Liberty, IA 52776). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Lawrence Paul Memorial Fund and sent to Henderson-Barker Funeral Home, PO Box 46, West Liberty, IA 52776..
