He was predeceased by: his parents, Abelardo Rivera and Consuelo Rivera (Merino); and his siblings, Luis, Blas Rivera and Tencha Rivera.
He is survived by: his wife Lana; his children, Joey Rivera (Jennifer), Amber Rivera and Krystle Rivera; his grandchildren, Benjamin O'Donnell, Sydney, Bayley Rivera, Aden Busch, Grayson, Hayes Cornelis, Youssef and Ramy El-Meanawy; and his siblings, Jorge, Hugo and LucMaria Rivera.
A Mass was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church (109 W 6th St, West Liberty, IA 52776).
