She was predeceased by: her father David Porter; her former husband Lloyd Simpson; and her husband Kenneth Ruess. She is survived by: her mother Charlotte Porter; her sister Jean; and her children, Ron Simpson (Deb), Lindsey Simpson (Deb), Sheri Chelf, Julie McKillip (Scott) and Marc Simpson (Lisa). She is also survived by 23 grandchildren, 46 great grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren.
Especially during this pandemic, they were her family when family couldn't be there.
