He was predeceased by: his parents, Mansel Dreibelbeis and Catherine Dreibelbeis; and his former wife Mary Jane. He is survived by: his son Michael (Shelley); and his grandchildren, Eric (Candice), Kerri Grace (Kyle), Adam Pearl (Lindsay), Keith Pearl (Holly), Lisa Warson (Nick), Andrew Haraway (Kelsi), Corey Johnston (Amy), Dan Johnston (Michelle), Jason Johnston (Briana), Cale Johnston (Lindsey) and Emery Yerington.

Memorials may be made to the West Liberty Rescue Unit or the Simpson Memorial Home.
