He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Lloyd Wesley and Viola Doris Wachs (Middleton) of West Liberty; his wife Janice Hetzler of West Liberty; his children, Jodi Simon (Bill) of West Liberty and Mitch Wachs (Jill Townsley) of Winfield; his grandchildren, Jay Simon (Casey), Justin Simon (Lisa), Bret Simon (Briana) and Hayley Simon (Oscar); his children, Kyndal, Keetyn and Kaelyn Townsley of Mitch's; his great grandchildren, Thayer, Lleyton, Beckham, Asher, Evie, Corban, Malachi, Henry, Sam, Josephine, Clara, Alex, Callie and Wesley; his siblings, Connie Schumaker (Denny) of Bettendorf, Teri Wachs of Coralville and Bill Wachs (Edie) of West Liberty; his brother-in-law Larry Hetzler of Muscatine; his parents-in-law, Albert and Mary Grace Hetzler; his sister-in-law Beth Hetzler; and also Jill. He was also cherished by his children and grandchildren.
