He was predeceased by: his parents, Wayne "Barney" Maurer and Nellie Maurer (Rorick); and his brothers, Wayne and Chuck. He is survived by: his wife Donna Birkett of West Liberty; his children, Nicki Green (Ed) of Downers Grove, Jeni Weaver (Zach) of Atalissa, Tim Maurer (JoAnn) of West Liberty and Chris Maurer (Tara) of West Liberty; and his grandchildren, Rachel, Jessica, Morgan, Samuel, Stephanie, Sara, Chloe, Kayla, Riley, Loni, Eddie and Lindley. He is also survived by 4 great grandchildren.
