He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Francis and Fern Elizabeth White; his siblings, Robert B. White and Josephine L. Ungles; and his wife Ruth E. White.

He is survived by: his former wife Katherine L. White of Memphis, MO; his son Anthony White (Laurie-Jean) of Colorado Springs, CO; his granddaughter Lauren Elizabeth; and his stepchildren, Lynda Kiehne (Roger Chapman), Andrea Koppel, Richard Pohlman, Sara McMechan, John Pohlman, Nathan Wall (Beth) and Elisha Adreon (Tracy). He is also survived by many step-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the McLaren's Resthaven Chapel (801 19th St, West Des Moines, IA 50265).

Memorials may be made in Wesley's name to University of Kansas (KU), Alzheimer's Disease Research Center, or The Metropolitan Opera.
