He was predeceased by: his parents, Jennice Howell and Myrtle Howell (Swenson); and his brother Donald. He is survived by: his wife Joanne; his children, Christine Nish (John), Dana Howell, Jennifer Howell, Mark Howell and Allison Bakken (Randy); his stepchildren, Tambria Gage, Michael Stanley (Karla) and Alan Stanley; and his brother Ralph Howell. He is also survived by 7 step-grandchildren, and 3 step-great-grandchildren.
