With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Susan K. Wharff (West Des Moines, Iowa), who passed away on October 8, 2021 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Pirtle and Jean Pirtle (Truman); and her husband Lewis Wharff. She is survived by: her children, Robin Petersen of Ankeny and Katie Stine (Tim) of Urbandale; her granddaughters, Heather Rouze (Nathan) of Agency and Ashley Wharff of Urbandale; her great grandchildren, Hunter, Maylei and Sawyer Rouze of Agency; and her sisters, Diana Griffith and Deb Hansen (Gerry). She is also survived by caregiver and helped care for her parents and husband.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.
