He was predeceased by: his father Arnold Black; and his father-in-law Donald 'Red Ferguson. He is survived by: his wife Felicia Black; his son Schuyler Black (Taylor) of Des Moines; his mother Donna Black of Ottumwa; his mother-in-law Marilyn 'Jeanie Ferguson of Ottumwa; and his pet Bentley.
