It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirlee Marcovis of West Des Moines, Iowa, born in Rock Island, Illinois, who passed away on December 6, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Himan Weindruch and Blanche Weindruch. She is survived by: her grandson David; her children, Bobbi Khalastchi (Nashi), Frank Marcovis (Janel) and David Marcovis; her grandchildren, Jenny Blumberg (Phil), Dr. Karen Goodwin (Malcolm), Daniel Khalastchi (Kate Conlow), Jeff Marcovis and Mike Marcovis; her great grandchildren, Mia, Zara Blumberg, Jackson Marcovis, Sloane and Reese Goodwin; her husband James Marcovis; her brothers, Harry Weindruch (Maxine), Larry Weindruch (Judy) and Michael Weindruch (Debbie); and her uncle David Kleinerman.
