She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Larson (Bud) and Irma Reisselman Larson; her brothers, Donny Larson (Carol) and Mike Larson; her brother-in-law Dave Fluhr; and her nephew Kurt Larson of East Dubuque, IL..
She is survived by: her husband Bob Holz, Jr. of Clive; her daughters, Christi Emerson (Mike) of Hendersonville, TN and Kim Johnson (Jeff) of Boone, IA; her grandchildren, Alexandra Emerson Carter (Brandon) of Winchester, KY, Tommy Emerson of Nashville, TN and Jacob Johnson (Kaleigh Haus) of Fort Worth, TX; her great grandchild Evelyn "Evie" Carter; and her siblings, Bonnie Fluhr and Ron Larson (Karen) of East Dubuque. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church (2926 Beaver Ave, Des Moines, IA 50310). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at the Glendale Cemetery.
Sharon Larson Holz died Sunday morning, December 15 after more than 15 years with Alzheimer's disease.
