Irish (West Des Moines, Iowa), born in Oak Park, Illinois, who passed away on October 27, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Irish and Dorothy Irish (Dollnig); and his sisters, Audrey Scherer and Barbara Hansen. He is survived by: his former wife Sue Derrick; his son Scott; his wife Phyllis Sherman; his children, Janet Somerville (Jim) of Arizona and Michael Irish (Ayako); his grandchildren, Kaito, Kouki of Japan, Scott Irish (Maxine) and Ryan of Indianola; and also, Lori Heiser of Missouri, Scott Sherman of Des Moines and Jeff Sherman (Gina) of Stuart.
