It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roger Carroll Schoonover (West Des Moines, Iowa), born in Des Moines, Iowa, who passed away on August 22, 2020, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Merle Schoonover and Mattie Schoonover. He is survived by: his wife Becky; his stepdaughter Courtney Packingham (Kurt); his brother Dennis Schoonover (Vicki); and his brothers-in-law, Pat Dorsey (Teresa) and Mike Dorsey (Donna). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be directed to Izaak Walton League, AHeinz57 Pet Rescue, ARL and EveryStep Hospice or the charity of your choice.
