He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Roy Foss and Emma Foss (Wahe); his wife Martha Dilks; his daughters, Debbie Foss of Waukee and Janet Dylla (Dan) of Wells, MN; his grandchildren, Whitney Sheely (Mike) of Mapleton, MN, Dustin Dylla (Kristie) of Wells, MN, William Hummer (Crystal) of Kansas City, MO and Alexxis Hummer of Missouri; his great grandchildren, Charlotte, Elsie, Emma Sheely, Peyton, Kacie Dylla, Karson Herston, Madison and William Jr. Hummer; and his pet Snickers. He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
