It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert L. Gaston (West Des Moines, Iowa), born in Des Moines, Iowa, who passed away on November 13, 2023, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James Gaston and Ellen Gaston (Honsinger); and his grandparents, Chet and Irene Gaston. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn; and his siblings, Sue Cruzan, Dick Gaston (Ronda), Cathy McCormick, Mary Rose Ludwig (Dick), Joe Gaston and Julie Dubansky. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and in-laws; and many friends.

Memorial contributions can be made to the Animal Rescue League of Iowa, Des Moines Blues Society, or a charity of your choice.
