It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Cecil Weddle of West Des Moines, Iowa, born in Dawson, Iowa, who passed away on September 6, 2021, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Everett Weddle and Letha Julia Combs Weddle; and his siblings, Jack, Melvin, Billie, Harold (Elliott), Deryle (Paul), Doreen Cofer and Linda McHaffie.
He is survived by: his former wife Kathleen Mary Remund of Coon Rapids; his grandsons, Joe, Andy and Aaron; his wife Carolyn Kelsay of Mexico, Missouri.; his children, Kerry Hastings (Craig) of Perry, Joe Weddle (Tracy) of Minburn, Andy Weddle (Kathy) of Pleasant Hill and Aaron Weddle (Bridget); his grandchildren, Corinne Hastings of Des Moines, Libby Hastings of Perry, Caleb Weddle of Nevada, Halli Weddle of Minburn and Shane Williams of Davenport; his great grandchildren, Jack Tatman of Davenport and Harper Williams of Davenport; and his siblings, Patrick Weddle of Warrenton, Oregon, Mary Lou Jackson of Pueblo, Donna McCleary of Charles City and Carolyn Myers (Jack) of Kellogg. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
