He was predeceased by: his parents, Ham Bengfort and Mary Bengfort (Dinges); his wife Vonnie; and his siblings, Elmo, Jim, Cody Bengfort, Joanne Origer and Marilyn Feeney.
He is survived by: his son Colin Bengfort (Sara) of Waukee, IA; his grandchildren, Hayden and Jace Bengfort; and his sisters, Kathy Bliss, Judy Stricker and Linda Zastrow.
