Richard Harken Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Harken of West Des Moines, Iowa, who passed away on August 1, 2020 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Urban Harken and Louise Harken (Wubbena); and his nephew Scott Matthew Harken. He is survived by: his wife Janelle Harken (Nesius); his stepsons, James Harken (Mary) of Cedar Rapids and Andrew Harken (Leigh Anna) of Ossining, NY.; his grandsons, Lucas, Michael and Dominick; his siblings, Dennis Harken (Delores) of Lansdale, PA and Linda Brooks of Cedar Falls, IA; and his brother-in-law Charles Landstrom of Burlington. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date due to the coronavirus.
